This is a symbol of friendship and interdependence.  The teeth and the tongue are both located in the mouth. They consequently play separate and dependent roles. Naturally, they even fight sometimes, but still co-habitat. Thus, this emblem is likened to marriage and other relationships .The symbol advises married couples to complement each other in all aspects of their marriage and other aspects of their life that are as important. It also encourages friendship and assistance.
