FULL BODIED  PORCELAIN TILES: Applied Outdoors Only. Anything with constant water- Floors, pools, shower. Durable. Wears well in heavy traffic. Applicable for floors, Continuous water, outdoors,  Kiln fired at 1800 degrees F and will last a lifetime.

TUMBLED STONE or  MARBLE TILES: Applied Indoors Only. Perfect for kitchen backsplashes and decorative wall murals. Yes, they are essentially the same material. But, depending on where you (the customer) live the material is described as one of the two descriptions.
