SPECIALTY BOUTIQUE: 2008 SPLASH SWIMWEAR COLLECTION
SWIMWEAR is a twentieth century clothing worn to the beach, pool, spa and pools of cruise ships and ocean liners are also fashionable attire worn from land to water.
Cultivate a measure of confidence, learn how to get that perfect fit; Find your shape, and select your leg and bra styles and measure and yourself. Take the plunge in Swimsuits with Fit, Function and Finesse.
Most swimsuits are fabricated with fabric spandex- trade named lycra. For the suit to stay with as you move we recommend that you look for a suit with Lycra as well as firm elastic in the straps. A high-lycra-content fabric is the most durable, most supportive, and best fitting choice.
Splashy support advice: Lasting support is attained with double straps and under wire bras. Boy-cut bottoms provide more coverage, but women with ample curves should be cautious: They are best worn on the slim-hipped.
FIND YOUR SHAPE.
To help you find the most flattering look for you, each suit has a shape icon to guide you.
TRIANGLE: Are your hips wider than your shoulders/bust? These suits offer volume for you.
RECTANGLE:
Are your hips and shoulders balanced? These suits contract your waist.
INVERTED TRIANGLE:
Is your shoulders/bust wider than your hips? These suits give you volume around your hips.
STAR:
These suits flatter everyones shape.
SELECT YOUR LEG AND BRA STYLES.
In selecting your leg style, each suit or bottom comes in one of three leg heights:
1. Most Coverage: Form of bottom covers most part of bottom.
2. Moderate Cut: Form of bottom covers part of bottom.
3. Highest Cut: Form of Bottom hardly covers bottom.
MEASURE YOURSELF.
TIPS:
If youre between two measurements, pick the lower size because your suit will stretch.
Your swim suit size maybe larger than your clothes size so when trying one on sit down and move around in it. Spandex helps control and smooth trouble spots.
TORSO:
Place the measuring tape diagonal across your body starting at the shoulders, between your legs and back around.
BUST:
Rest your arms at your side and measure the largest part of your bust while keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
WAIST:
Measure around your waist with at the smallest point and add ½ inch for comfort.
HIPS:
Place both feet together and measure around the biggest part of your hips while keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
BOTTOMS: Measure your waist around the smallest part of your waist line.
Measure your hips around the fullest part of your hips, usually about 7-8 below your waist, straight and firm, but not tight. In between sizes, order the large size.
